Mr Madhu Koneru played an important role in widening the reach of the Trimex Group, a minerals and metals conglomerate, beyond the borders of the UAE; he helped set up the company's first overseas mineral processing plant in Jebel Ali in 1998. Mr Koneru is also regularly sought after by UAE government officials to develop business partnerships between the UAE and India.
