Majid Al-Usaimi is the President of the Asian Paralympic Committee, Governing Board Member of the International Paralympic Committee, Board Member of Dubai Supreme Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Board Member of the UAE National Paralympic Committee, and Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Club for People of Determination.

In January 2021, Mr Al-Usaimi was appointed as UNICEF’s first-ever National Ambassador from the United Arab Emirates, following decades of results advancing child rights in the UAE and the Middle East, North Africa and Asia regions through his leadership positions and personal commitment. As a UNICEF Ambassador, Al-Usaimi is a leading advocate of giving children a voice and bringing their needs to the attention of decision-makers.
