H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair was appointed in May 2015 as the 7th Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Al Ghurair brings with him a wealth of business expertise and experience, which is essential in promoting the development of business in Dubai, and showcasing the emirate's potential as a global trade and investment hub.

H.E. Al Ghurair is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Ghurair Group and Chairman of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG). He has been the Chairman of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centers (MECSC) since 1994. H.E. Al Ghurair is also a Board Member of National Cement Co., NASDAQ Dubai, the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC), and Al Etihad Credit Bureau.

H.E. Al Ghurair was awarded the "Business Leader Personality of the Year 2004" in the United Arab Emirates by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
