Mr Lohia is the Group Chairman of Indorama Corporation and the driving force behind Indorama's global growth, which currently encompasses 56 manufacturing sites across 25 countries. He is also the Chairman of Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, Thailand, which has a current market capitalisation of approximately USD 4 billion and a turnover of USD 9 billion.
Under his leadership, Indorama is now the world's largest producer of Polyester, PET Resin, and Synthetic Disposable Gloves. It is also West Africa's largest producer of Olefins and Polyolefins. Mr Lohia is a passionate collector of art, rare books and hand-coloured lithographs. His collection exceeds 2,300 books, which are available for online viewing. He is closely engaged with the Lohia Foundation, which was founded by the Lohia Family. Through various education, art and healthcare related initiatives, Mr Lohia continues to build on his father's rich legacy.
